What are the problems encountered in pregnancy

If a pregnant mother follows all the healthy tips that is given in this web site, the chances of getting the following conditions would be very rare.

   Those who do not take any pre-cautions in pregnancy,  might  have complications in pregnancy and in delivery. These tips are to help mothers who did not have prior information about these health information. 

 
1. Nausea and vomiting:   This has been discussed in pregnancy section. If you have not then, please Click here  to read about how nausea and vomiting is a detoxification mechanism to protect the growing child from body's internal toxins.

2. Skin itching:  In the seventh month the body starts itching, the intensity is sometimes so severe that the skin of the stomach tears off if scratched. This occurs because of toxic accumulation in the body. This mostly occurs with women who eat a lot of salt and drink very little water.  Plenty of water should be drunk to flush out these toxins.

       For temporary relief,

1. Apply castor oil for 15 minutes before shower.

2. Apply  a decoction of sandal wood and lotus  or

3. A concoction of oil made from the skin of Acacia Speciosa (siras, shirish, girishamu)  along with mustard and licorice.

Apply any one of these on the breasts and the stomach-abdomen regions.  

Apply Ayurvedic oils given in the Ayurvedic section.

3. Gestational diabetes:

Women who do not do much walking during pregnancy, increase the chances of getting gestational diabetes. Apart from walking diet is also very important. Eating fiber rich foods keeps the pancreas healthy and  keep sugar levels under control. Eating fiber rich foods also prevents constipation. Unrefined , unprocessed foods gives all required nutrients for the growing child. Relaxation is also  important. Please also refer  gestational diabetes. Please section for more details.

4. Hyper-tension

     Like diabetes, women who do not walk regularly in diabetes also prone to get hypertension. Walking relaxes the mind and the body and hence keeps pressure under control. Intake of salt should be kept to the minimum. Eating chips high in salt, pickles, highly spice foods with more salt should be avoided. Relaxation is very very important. 5. Edema- swelling in legs

All women who do not do walking may not end up in diabetes and hypertension, because there are many factors precipitating in these conditions. It is toxins in the body that would appear as diseases in different forms. To put in other words, edema occurs when toxins accumulate and prevent less blood circulation in the legs.

Walking is the best means to overcome this problem. For temporary relief, boil a piece of ginger (chop it finely)  in sesame oil or coconut oil for few minutes. Store this oil in a bottle. Apply this oil over the legs which will improve blood circulation and remove edema.

6. Constipation

This is another complication that is seen in women who does less walking and eat refined foods and drink less water. Walking causes movements in intestines and this helps in the evacuation of stools. Sedantary people have more constipation problems than who are active. Constipation is not only uncomfortable for the mother but also increases toxicity in the system. Doing water therapy throughout pregnancy prevents these complications.

7.Gas and indigestion:

The list of problems associated with not walking increases and one among them is gas problems and indigestion. Walking causes movements in intestines and helps in getting rid of gas. Eating without food getting digested is one of the reasons. Drinking or eating lot of cold foods also can contribute because it can cause poor  secretion of digestive juices. So drinking a glass of warm water before 30 to 60 minutes  prior to eating will help in good secretion of digestive juices. Using lots of ginger and garlic enhances digestion. In our experience drinking warm water is the best among all.

8. Anemia

    Anemia occurs due to many reasons. it could be because of diet poor in iron or poor absorption in the intestines. How to treat anemia? Taking iron supplement is the most common approach, but will cause constipation. But the greater damage taking iron supplements is that they cause oxidation reactions in the body that will damage many cells. Taking iron in the natural way is the best option.

      Eat one organic orange every day. But it has 12 pieces. So eat two pieces
before breakfast, two after breakfast, two before lunch and two after
lunch and then two before snack time and two after and two before dinner. This will give vitamin C which would increase iron absorption. Also cook
food in iron vessels and to get natural iron.

      If the intestine is not clean enough, poor absorption of iron could happen. Castor oil cleansing is recommended except during pregnancy and liver diseases. Then we recommend  doing water therapy. Water therapy apart from keeping the intestine clean and promoting absorption, facilitates the proper use of the absorbed iron.
 

9. Over weight gain

      Over weight  occurs when the mother eats lots of processed foods. To maintain healthy weight eat more unrefined foods.

10. Under weight

       To increase weight healthy and quick eat more and eat protein rich foods. We see advertisements encouraging people to take protein rich drinks or other supplementing processed foods.  But be aware of the fact they bring quick results but may not be healthy. Unbalanced protein intake can damage organs like kidneys. They can increase acidic conditions  in the body and favor growth of cancer cells. Cancer is on the rise in countries that eat unbalancing proportions of proteins and making the body acidic. Read more about this aspect in the Earth (diet) section.

       Pregnant women should maintain their body in alkaline state to allow healthy growth of the baby. To increase weight in a healthy way eat soaked and cooked grains and seed varieties like chick peas, garbanzo, green mung , adzuki bean,
pinto beans, brown lentils, pigeon peas, blue beans etc. If these are soaked and cooked with ginger and garlic then do not produce gas. Eat one type of bean  everyday.

        Everyday soak 20 or less almonds with 3 to5 dates and next day blend in a blender  to a juice like consistency with milk or without milk. This helps to
increase weight.

11. Miscarriage

There are many reasons for miscarriage. It is a natural means for aborting a baby has some problems. Scientist accidentally discovered that experimental rats when had defective genes tend to have more miscarriages than normal. As woman and man gets older there is an increase in defective genes and so chance of miscarriages are more. It is best to have kids before age of 26 to 28.

      we had many cases of mothers with defective genes and having miscarriages and abnormal babies who could then give birth to healthy children by following the simple Pancha Bhoota methods. If a mother and father does the simple detoxification procedures before conception, the chances of having these complications are avoided.

12. Pre-mature babies

     Babies who escape miscarriage, later end as premature babies. Body is intelligent in all means to allow growth of a healthy baby. This is nature's law to allow the evolution of healthy individuals. The reason for premature babies is body toxicity. |If a mother who had first premature baby wants to avoid a second one, then if she takes good pre-pregnancy care then her chances of giving birth to a full term baby is more.

13. Bleeding in pregnancy

      These are milder symptoms of miscarriage and premature conditions. This is noticed in women who are mentally and physically stressed. Women who have hypertension and eat high salty and spicy foods and drinking less water will experience these symptoms.

14. Ectopic pregnancy

         This term applies to the implantation that occur outside the uterine cavity. This is a very dangerous situation. This type occurs rarely and in mothers who are totally not aware of their body health and also in conception. Stress in mothers are found to be one of the reasons. Research studies show that inducing stress in animals is found to increase pregnancy abnormalities. What more proof do we need to assure that a relaxed mother will have less pregnancy complications.

15. Pre-eclampsia

       Stress in mothers is found to be one of the predominant reasons.  In nature, animals do not have stress to the amount we humans have. they are relaxed and so do they suffer from less diseases.  We found working pregnant mothers are more prone to  these type of birth complications. Research studies show that inducing stress in animals increased pregnancy abnormalities. Stressed animals showed  the same symptoms of all human pregnancy complications.  What more proof do we need to assure that a relaxed mother will have less pregnancy complications. 

Conclusion

Pregnant mothers should be relaxed and keep stress to the minimal.  Eat unrefined whole foods and drink plenty of water to keep the body clean. This is the only means to have less pregnancy and delivery complications. Modern women need hospital care and cannot give birth to healthy babies at home because  of their poor pregnancy care.
