The 5-Steps Healing
1. Water
Therapy
Water is the most abundant element
in our body. 72% of our body is made
of water. Water in our body serves many different purposes. Apart from
circulating nutrients throughout the body in the form of blood, it also distributes
the heat in the body. The major function of water is to remove all waste materials
from the body. The waste materials include chemicals from the various
metabolic reactions of the body and also chemicals which are introduced through the
food we eat. Taking water to be an important component of the body
can lead to curing of
diseases.
2.Earth (Food)
Therapy
Food is
nourishing to both body and mind. Complete food keeps the
body healthy and free from all diseases. This is achieved by eating in moderate
amounts of a variety of foods, which include fruits, vegetables, grains,
pulses, seeds, nuts, leaves etc. All diseases arise due to improper quantity
and quality of foods.
3.Fire Therapy
Heat or fire keeps the body physiologically active. Heat is given out as
one of the end product of the biochemical reactions that occur in our body.
Exercise increases various metabolic reactions in the body. The heat produced during increased metabolic reactions drive
blood circulation and indirectly help in the removal of toxins and
waste materials from the cells. Yoga is the best form of exercise to meet
this requirement since it consciously exercises every part of
the body and involves both the mind and the body.
4.Air Therapy
We never breathe to the full capacity of our lungs. Due to various reasons
there is in-equal distribution of oxygen in different organs resulting in
diseases of that particular organ. Pranayama (a breathing exercise)
helps one breathe fully.
This exercise improves oxygen supply to all cells of the body especially
to those of the brain. Oxygen supply to the cells rejuvenates them and
enhances their functioning. This in turn helps in the removal of waste
from the body, which enables the healing force to work without any blockages.
5.Space Therapy
We are always concentrating on our external body and all the things around
us. Focus is never given to our interior body unless we fall sick. Getting
connected to our own being is achieved through meditation (awareness of
one's own self). This brings wholeness not only to the mind but also to the
body, because they are both connected. Getting connected to our own being in
this way, at the subtlest level, nourishes and cleanses our mind and the
body.
