                  Days of conception

It is never advisable to have sexual intercourse the first four days of menstruation. Also avoid intercourse on 11th and 13th days of menstruation. For those who desire a son, intercourse on the 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th and 16th night from commencement of menstruation is recommended. Those who desire a daughter intercourse on the 5th, 7th, 9th, and 15th night from commencement of menstruation is recommended.

Conception is a ritual and considered a godly act unlike in the western world, where sex is a casual word. Marriage is looked upon with high regard and the sexual act is considered a divine act because the couple becomes divine in creating a life. However,  non-marital sexual act is considered unworthy because the thoughts of the couple involved include feelings of guilt, fear, lust and lack of love. Kids born of unmarried couples will lack security and completeness.

 At the time of conception

On the day of copulation, it is good that the couple take time to relax and perform the sexual act without any stress. It is also good to have a conscious conception rather than an accident pregnancy. All these contribute highly to the mental and physical health of your child. The thought at the time of conception influences the mental state of the child. Nature has given "pleasure" during the sexual act in order to let the mind of the offspring be happy.
