Nineth month cherula (Aerva lanata) ground in cotton bag with 500 ml water. This is boiled until the contents reduces to   125 ml.  Mix this herbal solution with milk and use with rice gruel and butter.

Butter and dhanwanthiram thailam dipped cotton tampoon can be inserted in vagina.

Belting the abdomen with cotton cloth is good to reduce bloating of stomach and also for uterus to stay in position.

If mother secretes less breast milk, shtanyajana rasayanam 10 grams (one teaspoon) twice a day after food is to be taken.

Using these medications will ease delivery and also stimulate contractions at the right time with good intensity.

Delayed land prolonged labor is becoming a very common problem for women. Lack of walking is one of the reason. We have analyzsed women who walked less during in pregnancy and landing up in cesarian delivery. There are many factors, one of the reason is less exercise during pregnancy. According to Ayurveda, ignorance and Lazziness (tamas) is the root cause of several health problems. This holds for modern women too. Some of them are lazy and others have fear of walking that might cause abortion. This is not true. Exercise has nothing to do with premature birth of premature-abortion. Women with Unhealthy body suffer from lot of pregnancy related problems.

Gestational Diabetes:

This is rising in developed countries as well as developing countries. Again lack of exercise and eating refined foods are the cause of the problems. Our sincere suggestion if to make the body fit before pregnancy rather than after pregnancy.

Diseases also was there in ancient times and was caused due to lazziness and ignorance. Ayurvedic dcotros like Charaka and Shusrutha writes that people dont listen to good healthy advices and get many diseases.  So even thousands of years back this was the case. But this attitude has amplified in modern times to a great extant.
